Sern Sap Restaurant, ร้านอาหาร เชีนแชบ, ຮ້ານອາຫານ ເຊີນແຊບ is a clean, bright and fresh Restaurant adjacent to Nong Phathep (a small inlet to Nam Theun reservoir named for the Thai Princess). We have been proudly serving the Nakai area and beyond since 2014. Our mission is to provide high-quality Lao, Thai and western food within a natural and enjoyable ambiance. We are well set up for dine in, take away and catered events.

We know from experience that good vegetarian meals can be difficult to find outside bigger towns and cities in Asia. With that in mind we have developed many delicious menu items using fresh produce that can be served as a side dish or as a complete satisfying meal.

Many restaurants have their own take on Sin Dat, but we’re confident that ours is the best with a delicious sauce and always prepared to perfection. Share it with friends or have it all to yourself—you’ll enjoy it till the very last bite.

We have different variations on Soukiyaki and jiow hon - both very bold Asian style cook-at-the-table meals that are way more than a soup. Fish, mixed seafood, meats cooked in our homemade stock and served with Sern Sap Sauces. Great for cold nights, not bad any night!
